PARTNERSHIP GOAL

To affiliate The North Face with trending music in a natural fitting environment of the snowy forest landscape of South Lake Tahoe, California, during one of the most anticipated weekends of the year: New Year’s Eve.

Rights to use Festival I.P. in online and in-store promotions.

TICKETS & HOSPITALITY

Fifty (50) Weekend VIP passes.

Fifty (50) GA Weekend passes.

Mutually agreed upon number of working passes and parking passes for staff working the event. Partner will have the ability to purchase additional GA or VIP passes at a discount (based on availability at time of request).

MARKETING

The Festival will provide front-end marketing as follows:

Partner logo will be featured in the top third of the Festival artwork upon lineup announcement in the form of "PRESENTED BY THE NORTH FACE".

Partner logo will be featured on the top third of the Festival’s website and also included on the Festival’s partner page with a hyperlink to Partner’s website.

Partner content will be included in three (3) Festival email blast to ticket holders, content must be related to partnership of the event.

Partner will receive three (3) Festival social media posts in advance of the Festival. Content must be related to partnership of the event and to be divided amongst Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

Partner will be included in the Festival map marking their activation, to be included in both digital and printed materials.

Partner has the opportunity to be featured as Presenting Partner of the Festival’s IRL Video Series leading up to the Festival that interviews booked acts. 

The Festival will provide during-event marketing as follows:

A designated content team specifically tasked with capturing Partner content for a TBD custom content program.

Partner will receive three (3) Festival social media post during the Festival, one each day. Content must be related to partnership of the event and to be divided amongst Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

Partner will receive three (3) Festival mobile app push notifications, one each day, with a message driving action to Partner’s activation or program.

Partner has the opportunity to utilize the Festival’s IP for promotions through Partner’s digital properties and/or in-store channels, examples include POS advertising, contesting, etc.

SNAPCHAT LIVE STORY AGREEMENT

Partner has the opportunity to opt into the Festival’s SnapChat Live Story agreement as a media advertiser. Details to be handled separately. The Festival will make commercially reasonable efforts to facilitate the opportunity between Partner and SnapChat.

FESTIVAL ON-SITE PRESENCE

THE FESTIVAL WILL PROVIDE:

Festival Design:

Partner to be involved in the creative design and theme of the consumer-facing elements of the Festival, including but not limited to FENCING, CONCESSIONS, decorations, merchandise, art installations, stage dressings, etc.

Partner has the opportunity to outfit all Festival staff in Partner branded apparel such as but not limited to jackets, beanies, scarves, gloves, etc.

Artist Lounge:

Partner to present the Artist Lounge and be involved with the creative design and theme of the artist-facing elements of the structure, including but not limited to decorations, gifting, and experiential programs.

The Festival will make commercially reasonable efforts to facilitate artist participation for gifting experiences.

Main Stage Branding:

Partner logo shall appear on the top third of the stage left and stage right scrims on the Main Stage.

Big Air Exhibition:

Partner has the opportunity to feature exterior SIGNAGE and their sponsored athletes as performers in the Big Air Exhibition directly adjacent to main stage.

Activation:

TBD sized consumer-facing footprint for activation.

ACTIVATION IDEA: "THE NORTH FACE VILLAGE" an area in the center of the festival that features several experiential activities like a photo/gif booth, climbing wall, beauty bar, design-your-own mittens, scarf, or neck gaiter, etc.

FESTIVAL OFF-SITE PRESENCE

The Festival will provide commercially reasonable efforts to facilitate third-party opportunities with local resorts, hotels, restaurants, etc. per individual requests by the Partner.

INVESTMENT & TERMS

$500,000.00 per year.

Term: 3 years.

Payment terms are open to negotiation, such as quarterly, bi-annually, etc.  

Renewal period: Prior to March 1, 2021 Sponsor will have first right of refusal in the category to sponsor the 2021 Festival.

FESTIVAL LIVE STREAM PRESENTING RIGHTS

(IF APPLICABLE)

In the event that the Festival confirms a Video Live Stream Program, Partner will have first right of refusal to opt in as the Presenting Partner of the Live Stream.

FESTIVAL EXPANSION - FIRST RIGHT OF REFUSAL

(IF APPLICABLE)

In the event that the Festival expands into new regions both domestically and internationally, Partner will have first right of refusal to opt into new events as the Presenting Partner.
